Fiona is the heart behind Kula Wellness, where her passion for yoga and people shines through in every offering. Trained as a yoga instructor by Elizabeth Hagen through East to West Yoga, Fiona brings love, compassion, and a deep sense of presence to her classes. She has created a warm, welcoming space where individuals can explore yoga, meditation, and self-awareness at their own pace.
A resident of the Ottawa Valley since 1992, Fiona spent many years working in the corporate world at CNL (formerly AECL) in Chalk River. Beyond her professional journey, she has always been devoted to animals and children, raising two wonderful sons. Today, she calls Cobden home, where she lives with her husband, Jamie, and continues to nurture a vibrant, supportive wellness community.
Bronwyn is a certified yoga instructor, trained at Union.108 in Arnprior, now teaching at Kula Wellness in Cobden. With a strong foundation in both movement and women's health, she brings a unique depth to her classes through her experience as a midwife, lactation consultant, and prenatal educator. Passionate about supporting women through every stage of life, she has a special interest in prenatal and postnatal yoga practices to promote strength, connection, and healing. Join her Thursday evenings for Let it Flow (Vinyasa) and Sacred Centre (Core and Restorative), where she blends mindful movement with compassionate care.
With 12 years of nursing experience, Russ brings a unique, clinical perspective to personal training. Specializing in injury prevention and physical rehabilitation, he’s passionate about helping clients return to — or even surpass — their previous levels of physical ability. A former competitive strength athlete, Russ also offers expert guidance in hypertrophy and strength training. Whether you’re recovering from injury or ready to level up your performance, Russ will help you move with confidence, strength, and purpose.
Jessie recently graduated from the Mat Pilates Instructor Training at Union 108 in Arnprior. She holds a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from St. Lawrence College in Kingston and brings a thoughtful, inclusive approach to her classes. Jessie blends classical and contemporary Pilates with a strong emphasis on intentional, mindful movement, creating space for students to move with awareness, strength, and confidence. She is passionate about encouraging people to try new things and develop a lasting love for movement - no matter where they’re starting from. Jade has a vision for fitness that has always been rooted in inclusivity and accessibility. She believes movement should be for everyone. That moving your body should bring a sense of joy and peace, while also creating connection and community.
Jade began her own fitness journey many years ago, and it has grown into both a passion and a purpose. Along the way, she completed a Diploma of Fitness and Health Promotion, studied at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and most recently completed her spin instructor training.
She is incredibly excited to bring her energy into the community, connect with so many wonderful people, and create a space where everyone feels welcome, empowered and inspired to move.
